Blues Road Band ..... from birth to now

The BRB was born in February 2006 by Franz Nastasi and Paolo Giardiello, the first looking for a new band after left Radio Kaos (blues rock band he founded and where he sang for five years), the second one (guitarist) looking for elements to form a new project.
From here we started, catalyzing the attention on us and the confidence of some talented musicians (Stefano  Meroni on bass, piano Cristian Lanfranconi, Giardiello Stefano on drums, Gio Sorito, harps, Spreafico Angelo on sax), all driven by 'love for the Blues and in two months the repertoire was ready, chosen to fit the dark, rough voice of singer.
From April 2006 it began a long series of exhibitions on the areas of Lecco, Como, Sondrio and Brianza, culminating in 2008 with the recording of a CD (A part of us). Too bad that after this successful  experience, the band broke up for the wishes of some of them to start new musical paths and Franz had to start again the search for new people, equally valid and motivated to continue the project BRB.
Thus began a new challenge, the BRB becomes  a port for many musicians, and everybody leaves something on their way and would like to mention them all and thank them one by one: Carmine, Fabio, Tommaso, Dario, Gianluca and others, although marginally helped. Finally we come to 2010, the line  up is complete and tested, the songs flow and we appreciate the enthusiasm and now we can say, here we are again, driven by passion, fun and funny, like old kids to make music, ours!

Blues Road Band ..... dalla nascita ad oggi

la BRB nasce nel febbraio 2006 dall'incontro di Franz Nastasi e Paolo Giardiello, il  primo alla ricerca di una nuova band dopo l'uscita dai Radio Kaos (gruppo rock blues da lui fondato e nel quale ha cantato per cinque anni) il secondo (chitarrista) alla ricerca di elementi per formare un nuovo progetto.
Da qui siamo partiti, catalizzando  su di noi l'attenzione e la fiducia di alcuni valenti musicisti (Stefano Meroni al basso, Cristian Lanfranconi al pianoforte, Stefano Giardiello alla batteria, Giovanni Sorito, armoniche, Angelo Spreafico al sax), tutti spinti dall'amore per il Blues  e in due mesi ecco pronto il nostro repertorio, scelto su misura per la timbrica scura, grezza e un pò ruvida del cantante.
Da aprile 2006 inizia una lunga serie di esibizioni nei locali delle province di Lecco, Como, Sondrio e della Brianza,  culminate nel 2008 con la registrazione di un CD (A part of us). Peccato che dopo questa fortunata esperienza la band si sciolse per la volontà di alcuni di loro ad iniziare nuovi percorsi musicali e Franz dovette ricominciare da capo la ricerca di  nuovi elementi, altrettanto validi e motivati per continuare il progetto BRB.
Inizia così una nuova sfida, la BRB diventa un porto di approdo per moltissimi musicisti, tutti lasciano qualcosa di se nel loro passaggio e vorrei citarli tutti e ringraziarli  ad uno ad uno: Carmine, Fabio, Tommaso, Dario, Gianluca e altri, che seppur marginalmente hanno contribuito. Finalmente arriviamo al 2010, la line up è completa e collaudata, i pezzi scorrono e ci piacciono, l'entusiasmo ritorna e ora possiamo dirlo,  siamo di nuovo qui, spinti dalla passione, divertiti e divertenti, come vecchi ragazzini a fare musica, la nostra!
